Here we are just after we exchanged our embroidery samplers. The one Marilee created for me is simply stunning and reflects so many of the things I love best. This indeed is a treasure.

and the fabulous Teresa McFayden the founder of Silver Bella and artiste extraordinaire.
Just arrived home and have caught a silly head cold...too much fun me thinks, lol.
Glad to be home but oh what fun I had....

Hi, Catherine. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I love to embroider (as well as a bunch of other hobbies), and my mother was an expert. I cherish some of the items she gave me before she died. Lovely things.
What a lovely blog Catherine. I see your artistic talents greatly outshine mine! I love to look at the art of others. Glad to hear of someone who actually went to Silver Bella. I think I'd need a buddy so I didn't feel too far into the deep end of the pool! I have a friend here in mind tho she doesn't know it yet. ;-)
sounds like fun! Your sampler is absolutely adorable!!! I love it! Lucky swapee!
Wow, you're really good with the needle!
I have done some embroidering but am far away from talented people like you. Thanks for sharing!
I am so glad you were able to go to Silver Bella! Your work is extraordinary!
Thank you for commenting on my blog. You made me smile.
Beautiful samplers. I remember seeing yours a few days ago when I was blog hopping via Shimelle's forums.
Hi...just found you at the blog list at Simelle's class. Thought I would stop by and say hi...then I saw you went to SB...I went last year and so enjoyed it. I ADORE your embroidery! I took a class last year with Rebecca Sower and we did similar embroidery on cuffs for our wrists. I posted about it last year on my blog...www.spoonjarchronicles.typepad.com
