Little bits of vintage lace, look at the pears, they are from the 1930's. Fun whimsical stitches, pieces of fabric and an old broach.
Beautiful vintage lace panel from the 1920's adorned with a button from the same era. This was such fun and since I have not done any embroidery in awhile I had to knock off a little rust and practice some of the stitches. Was wonderful to get back in the saddle.
I am filled with anticipation and can't wait to give this to my sweet partner, Marilee.

It is totally gorgeous. If she doesn't love it then you can send it to me!!
Wow, that's amazing! I've recently gotten back into hand embroidery too. Are you familiar with Sublime Stitching? They have some interesting modern designs. I'm a classmate from Blogging for Scrapbookers.
Gorgeous! She's very lucky!
Wowza! I love that. It brings back sweet memories of my grandmother and her embroidery & lace work.
What a lucky recipient you have!

I love it. I used to stitch all the time, but that is so unique and beautiful. Amazing work.
I love this sampler! Your partner at Silver Bella is going to love this.
You did an amazing job....she will love it....and if she doesn't....well I'm sure that there are several of us that would give it a wonderful home
Oh my gosh, Catherine. I have done embroidery before but I've never seen anything like this. This is so beautiful. I love the personalized aspect of this, and vintage details and the stitches and buttons and... Wow. I love it!
(PS: I'm in Shimelle's class with you so I thought I'd add this. The deleted comment in this thread is from me. I noticed a glaring typo after I posted it and since I was the author it let me delete it, but it left a trail. I didn't know it would do that!)
