Oh yeah, baby it is me. What could be more fun than a week end with Heidi Swapp in Arizona? Debbie Schue, Tim Holtz, and other wonderful artists will be some of our teachers. This is a fabulous event and I am so pleased to be able to attend once again.

Enjoy the last day of March and be cautious as tomorrow is April 1st and one never knows what might happen on April Fool's Day.

Angel wings, pink tulle and a baby...

I recently had the pleasure of participating in Teresa McFayden"s E -Zine, Bellorama. She provides the directions and inspirations to wonderful projects and then you go forth and create.

To quote Teresa she says, "Artfully speaking, it's so important to pay honor to your childhood self, and think like a child now and then. I hope you have a baby photo of yourself to use! Displaying your wee self in your work space will help you remember to do that."

It was such a delight to create my "wee self" and I do have her in my craft room for inspiration. How can you not be inspired surrounded by angel wings and pink tulle, I say.

I have been playing around with "digi scrapping" today. Trying to become more proficient with CS4 and this is today's end result. This is my sweet daughter, Cristina when she was about six months old. Tres charmant...oui.

Is anyone else as happy as I am that today is the last day of winter?

Hi,

Yesterday I signed up for another class with Jesssica Sprague, Photo Editing: Good-to-Great Workflow, and wow it is amazing.

I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 6 to CS4...big leap for me. And almost simultaneously Jessica opened up a new class...yahoo. I literally learned an amazing new technique in the first five minutes of lesson 1...way cool. So excited to see if I can actually learn how to make my photos look better.

I am also re doing some of the earlier digi classes I took with Elements 6 but now doing the classes with CS4. It's been a wonderful refresher for me and am learning new stuff as well.

Today's View...

We are heading off to the city and it's a typical Pacific NW day; grey, cloudy and drizzly. This is the view from the ferry as we approach Seattle. And as we arrive, another ferry prepares for the trip back. We are getting together with long time friends for dinner and "catch up" time.

Am counting the hours until the Creative Escape Lottery...oh yeah!

I signed up about six months ago, the minute they opened up the link...lol. I have my fingers and toes crossed for extra good luck. I was lucky enough to attend last year, I guess they had around 10,ooo people in the lottery for 650 slots and I was amazed to have been picked. Please think good thoughts for me and I'll keep wishing as well.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by and visiting my little corner of the world. This is my first attempt at blogging, so I imagine I will be making lots of changes as I go forward into this new adventure. It seems everyone has a blog these days and I was beginning to feel left behind...lol.
