So nice when Halloween falls on a Saturday night both for adults and the little "trick or treaters". We are off to a Holloween party at the Port Orchard Yatch club. DJ for dancing, costumes a must...lol and we are to bring Ghoulish appetizers.I am bringing:
Guacamole Ghoul Eyes
1 ripe medium avocado
1 tablespoon minced jalapeno pepper
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
16 cherry tomatoes
8 pitted black olives, halved horizontally
Mash avocado with fork in medium bowl. Stir in jalapeno, lime juice, and garlic salt.
Cut off top 1/3 of each tomato. With serrated spoon, scoop out seeds; discard. Fill tomatoes with 1 rounded teaspoonful avocado mixture. Center olive half in each tomato to resemble the pupil of an eye.
Our group of friends has decided we are attending the party as a gang of pirates...aaarg mateys! If I am brave enough I will post photos to give you all a little chuckle in your day. :)
My {View}...includes pumpkins, falling leaves, blustery trees swaying in the wind
